The action-adventure came in at no. 9 on the Netflix Global Top 10 for the week of October 9-October 15, with 3.1 million views. Topping the list this week were Netflix originals Reptile (no. 1) and Fair Play (no. 2), with 14.2 and 14 million views, respectively

While its Netflix global top 10 inclusion comes long after its release, The Lost City’s success comes as no surprise based on its track record. The movie grossed nearly $193 million worldwide during its theatrical release, an impressive feat for a spring release. Made on an estimated $68 million budget, this cemented The Lost City as a financial success.

Of its $192.9 million worldwide gross, $87.5 million of that total came from international ticket sales. Following suit with this overseas success, The Lost City made the Netflix Global Top 10 in seven countries, reaching no. 1 in Greece and the Netherlands. Thus, its Netflix chart exemplifies the staying power with global audiences.
